In an exciting last game of the season for the Reserves McInnes gave Kilmarnock an early lead in the 9th minute. Aberdeen pushed forward after that and in the 30th minute eqaulised to make the game all square at half time. In the second half Kilmarnock took control of the game and in a great period of dominance, with Walker scoring in the 64th and Cox scoring in the 66th minute, they made the score 3 - 1. Aberdeen came back into the game and in the 80th minute they scored to make it 3 - 2 but Kilmarnock held on to finish the season with a victory and move them up into Seventh place in the league.
