McDONALDS PROGRAMME 2008

The SFA partnership with McDonalds provides a tremendous opportunity for primary schools P5 to receive around 240 hours of free football coaching per year. Also added to this is the opportunity for any keen member of teaching staff to achieve the Early Touches Level 1 Coaching Certificate, free of charge.

Each school participating in this programme will be invited to play in a Regional 7 a side football festival. One school will then be chosen to represent East Ayrshire in the National Festival at Hampden Park, Glasgow.

In early 2008 we will launch a brand new format that includes 20 hours of training and 20 hours of matches, we will be looking to create a new boys & girls team at each of the participating schools throughout East Ayrshire.
