In 2007-2008 Kilmarnock FC in partnership with the SFA, Bank of Scotland and East Ayrshire Council Leisure Department embarked on a brand new national programme aimed at encouraging higher levels of football participation and opportunities for S1 to S3 boys and girls.

Almost every Secondary School in East Ayrshire participated in a twenty week coaching and matches programme.

Schools who participated were Stewarton Academy, Saint Joseph's Academy, Grange Academy, James Hamilton Academy, Cumnock Academy, Auchinleck Academy, Loudoun Academy and Doon Academy.

This programme also encouraged teachers, pupils and volunteers to become involved and to achieve their Coach Education certificates.

All eight Schools are currently completing their games programmes.
